Sarah gained a Masters in Archives and Records Management from UCD in 2020, becoming familiar with ISAD-G, GDPR, basic preservation and conservation, as well as best practices in the field. Originally from New Jersey, USA, she completed a previous Masters in Public Administration from the University of South Dakota, and a Bachelors from South Dakota State University. She worked in the archive at the University of South Dakota, where she processed, catalogued, and made a finding aid available online for the Linda Hasselstrom collection. Before moving to Ireland, she worked with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection on a records management project that led to the bulk digitisation of many important records, as well as updating the DEP Retention Schedule. These experiences coupled with the education at UCD leaves her with a broad field of knowledge as well as a strong attention to detail in archival works. Since completing the master at UCD, Sarah has worked with the Little Sisters in the Company of Mary, as well as with Eneclann on many projects. These included projects with The Military Archives, The Deaf Heritage Centre, The National Museum of Ireland, and the Chester Beatty. She recently became the Archives and Records Management Project Manager.
